Day 24 - Jeremiah

Day 24 - JEREMIAH (He is the Potter, I Am the Clay)
(to check out past posts, click: tonyvicreyes.blogspot.com )

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.  Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:  "O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?" says the Lord. "Look, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!  (Jeremiah 18:4-6)

At the very root of man’s heart is rebellion against his Creator.  We want to think that we are the master of our own destiny and that no one, not even God, has the right to meddle in our lives.  But God says that He is the Potter and we are the clay and that as our Creator He has every right to do what He wills with our life.

The problem lies when we fail to fully trust that God loves us and has the best plans for our life.  When we do completely trust God for everything in our life we can be the pliable clay in His hand that He can mold for His purposes.  Trust God, there is no better place to be than in the palm of His hand.
